We practice conversational english, get acquainted, build relationships, and learn how God's Word relates to each of us.

Free adult english classes are offered each Sunday at 430pm. Free children's programs are offered during same timeframe!
The English literacy ministry of Central Baptist Church reaches out to internationals in the Oak Ridge area by teaching conversational English to international adults, thereby enabling them to enhance their English speaking skills and gain a better understanding and appreciation for cultural customs of the United States. Classes are available for beginner, intermediate, or advanced placement.
Classes have included adults from Nepal, China, Japan, India, Serbia, South Korea, Greece, and Mexico. Other cultural groups are welcome.
